POLYMERIZATION INHIBITORS
Monomers of various kinds of resins,e.g.,acrylic acid,acrylic ester,acrylnitrile and vinyl acetate,are so easy to polymerize that polymerization inhibitorsare used to inhibit such premature polymerization. Polymerization ihhibitors are also used as modifiers or shortstops in the manufacture of synthetic rubbers.
